James Gunn says DC Movies will no longer face studio interferenceGunn responded to Mastodon's fan to explain why they shouldn't worry about the film being manipulated.

Zack Snyder, who had been credited (if that's what you want it to be called) with creating the DC Universe screenplays in previous years, complained about Warner Bros.''studio interference' while trying to get his films into theatres.

The movies of Snyder - Batman and Superman: Dawn of Justice - were modified incessantly by the studios. After Snyder's death, Justice League had lost its original form. JossWhedon was being given credit as that film's director.

David Ayer's Suicide Squad (2016), was long-rumored as well. Ayer promised that his cut would eventually see daylight. The Ayer cut, however, has not been released on HBO Max. Snyder saw the HBO Max premiere of his Justice League version. Negative critical reaction is what all these movies that suffered interference share in common. Fans and critics know when directors aren't wanting them to see certain things.

These issues are likely to be gone with DC Studios under the control James Gunn, and Peter Safran. Gunn responded to Mastodon's fan to explain why they don't think that the film should be manipulated from the top. The position with Zack is now different. Gunn stated that Peter and I are DC Studios' heads. Gunn stated, "The only interference from the studio would be from us!"

Already in the first weeks of their tenure, Gunn and Safran had transformed DC's universe. Shortly after Henry Cavill went public on Instagram to declare his return as Superman, following an appearance at Dwayne John insisting at the end of Black Adam, Gunn revealed that the character would be recast in later films. Cavill was then removed from the role.

Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins made a film together. It was the third part of the Wonder Woman series. Gunn, when asked about why Gadot left, replied to another Twitter fan by saying that he had never "axed" anyone from the role.

Gunn and Safran will have a lot of work ahead of them, but they are fully in charge.
